Review of the Sun Siyam Hotel in Pasikudah . The pearl of the east coast, located on snow-white sand surrounded by a coral reef, between the bays of Vandalous and Kalkudah, is one of the Sun Siyam ho𝗍𝖾𝗅 managed by 𝖠𝗋𝗌𝗁𝖾𝖽 𝖱𝖾𝖿𝖺𝗂. 𝖥𝗂𝗋𝗌𝗍 𝗂𝗇 𝗅𝗈𝖻𝖻𝗒 𝗓𝗈𝗇𝖾 𝗍𝗁𝖾 Guests are greeted by a bright and stylish design, which leads to the road 𝗈𝖿 the delicately hidden villas. In the center of the territory there is a large 𝗉𝗈𝗈𝗅 with beautiful illumination at night. If you want privacy, you can relax 𝖺𝗍 your private pool in your room. 𝖠𝗍 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝖻𝗎𝖿𝖿𝖾 area there is a 𝗐𝗂𝗇𝖾 𝖼𝖾𝗅𝗅𝖺𝗋 with an impressive collection of wines and champagnes. For sophisticated guests, having a glass of Dom Perignon at sunset of the outgoing day is perfect! Whole hotel makes with love, so you may not worried about something, the hospitality staff will always help you. Today it is one of the best hotels on the island of Sri Lanka, so your are always welcome!

The staff were exceptional in every regard. I am gluten free and informed the hotel ahead of my arrival. They could not have made more effort with assisting me with this and the food throughout our stay was varied, tasty and a delight to discover. The best gluten free bread I have ever tasted, baked especially for me, daily! Good value hotel, but rates in keeping with a 5 star hotel in the city. The facilities were adequate and a luxury feel in terms of well appointed and designed rooms. Good AC, clean and spacious. We were upgraded to a sea view pool villa ( booked a garden view) which had a lovely feel and ambience. Very spacious and lots of room to relax. Recommend asking for a first floor villa/room. The swimming pool and beach facilities are excellent though the beach is a bit shallow for swimming. For good snorkelling you need to book a trip, locally not much to see. The bar was by the pool area with indoor and outdoor seating an option. Nice air conditioned environment for the bar and a pool table were good additions. The gym is small but adequate. The restaurant area is in the shade but open air, so be aware regarding some tendency to flies and the occasional crow cackling away looking to see if they can find leftovers. Very lovely and attentive staff made this holiday a real escape and relaxation. There is a calm and uplifting vibe. The spa has a sauna and steam room and good reasonably priced options for massage.

Our stay at Sun Siyam Pasikudah was unforgettable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere peaceful and elegant – but what truly made the difference were the people. Special thanks to Kapil, Gehan, Janidu and Thushara – your professionalism, heart, and unique attitude made our stay extraordinary. Great job, gentlemen! Beautiful hotel that sits on a stretch of private beach with direct access to the (very shallow) sea. The hotel footprint is not large (unlike neighbouring properties) but it did not feel crowded and we were always able to get space by the pool or on the beach. We had 2 rooms (one above the other) and were fortunate to have an internal interconnecting staircase between the two rooms. Rooms are spacious and have a daybed, as well as a balcony or patio. Air conditioning was powerful and a relief when you needed a break from the sun! There is a large outdoor bathroom, with a separate indoor shower and open-air bath. The large pool was a highlight of the hotel, along with the immaculate beach. The free pool table and the (underused) karaoke room were good fun (although you need to be able to navigate to YouTube karaoke songs). The beach bar with its swing was great. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Absolutely breathtaking location and very relaxing layout - they’ve thought through everything really well. Beautiful rooms. Very friendly staff with some going above and beyond to assist. Good breakfast selection.
